Welcome to the Little House on the Prairie Museum, the official historical site of Laura Ingalls Wilder's book "Little House on the Prairie". Come visit our replica of the Ingalls family cabin and experience life on the prairie in the late 1800s.

About Us

At the Little House on the Prairie Museum, we are dedicated to preserving the history of Laura Ingalls Wilder's life and the era in which she lived. Our museum includes a replica of the Ingalls family cabin, an old post office, and a one-room schoolhouse. Visitors can step back in time and experience firsthand what life was like on the prairie in the late 1800s.

Our Mission

Our mission at the Little House on the Prairie Museum is to educate the public about the history of Laura Ingalls Wilder's life and the importance of preserving historical sites like ours. Through our exhibits and educational programs, we strive to inspire future generations to appreciate and learn from the past.

We are open all 7 days of the week (Sunday through Saturday) from 10 am to 5 pm in the months of March through October, weather permitting, located at
